Over the past decade, Austin has gained diverse agricultural experience, including work in CSA and food access, as well as beekeeping and nut production, on farms across Oregon, Massachusetts, and Texas.

He holds a Master of Social Work from UT Arlington, where he focused on integrating his passions for ecological agriculture and human health. 

As the Local Food Coordinator for the Bastrop County Local Food Action Plan Project, Austin brings his expertise and commitment to strengthening local food systems.
