Krista brings diverse experience in community development, project management, and financial administration. 

After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2012, she worked with a nonprofit community center in London, UK, focused on providing aid to Middle Eastern refugees.

Krista later returned to the U.S. to coordinate programs and special events for all ages with the City of Missouri City Parks and Recreation Department. 

Her expertise expanded as Finance Manager for the City of Jacksonville Office of Special Events, where she handled contracts, logistics, and financial operations for major regional events, including the Jacksonville Jazz Festival, Sea & Sky Airshow, Florida vs. Georgia Football Game, and the World of Nations Celebration.

A firm believer in the power of food to bring people together, Krista loves gathering around a table for a shared meal and meaningful conversation. 

She is excited to contribute to building equitable food systems that benefit all tables through her work with the Texas Center for Local Food.
