The Texas Farm-Based Education Handbook was developed through a collaborative effort between the Texas Center for Local Food (TCLF) and a diverse team of Texas farmers.
Its goal is to support farmers in creating engaging, educational youth programming on their farms.
This handbook was inspired by direct requests from farmers across Texas seeking guidance to expand their on-farm educational offerings.
Co-created with input from farmers representing a wide range of backgrounds and expertise, it offers practical, experience-based tools and insights tailored to the Texas farming community.
