Grow Local South Texas has over a decade of experience supporting local food producers in South Texas. We operate a year-round farmers’ market in a food desert and administer SNAP/Double Up Food Bucks, helping small farmers increase revenue and expand customer bases. We also run educational programs for youth and new farmers, offer garden/programming development and support, host an annual food producers conference, and provide referrals and technical assistance that help farmers scale up, diversify, or access markets.

Grow Local South Texas offers a range of ongoing 1-on-1 support services. Our goal is to maintain relationships beyond initial consultations and support our local food producers through the entire arc of growth and development. We offer a mix of free and paid consultations depending on the type of support requested and available funding. Free consultations are available for most community members, farmers, food producers, and partners thanks to grant support and community funding. Paid consultations may apply for specialized services, in-depth technical assistance, or program development support outside our core offerings.

We are based in Corpus Christi and serve communities primarily within the Coastal Bend and surrounding rural regions. Services available in English, and we also have Spanish literature.
