Our Salsa:
Proudly crafted in Texas, Guajardo’s Salsa is home of our naturally sweet and addicting Sweet Salsa. Our small batch products, Mild, Medium, Habanero, Double Habanero, Ghost, Hot Mix & OMG contain no added water, sugar or preservatives and has been called ‘crack on a chip’ by many loyal customers.

Our Story:
Founder Mike Guajardo spent more than 40 years trying to identify the cause of his debilitating migraines before discovering they were triggered by a food allergy to fresh and dried onions (cooked onions were fine). As an avid salsa and pico de gallo lover, Mike refused to give them up and instead set out to create a cooked salsa packed with flavor that wouldn't trigger his allergies. The result was the Sweet Salsa.

What began as a personal recipe quickly gained a following as friends and family asked to buy it. Today, Guajardo’s Salsa continues to grow, producing handcrafted Texas-made salsas in small batches while staying true to the recipe that started it all.
