Rhizos LLC is a Texas-based company offering 1-on-1 consultations, webinars, and workshops conducted remote/virtually to farmers and ranchers and compost makers across the U.S. We assess soil and compost samples under a microscope to evaluate the microbial communities within them. These communities naturally cycle nutrients to plants, improve soil structure for better water absorption and storage, and protect plants from pests and diseases. For example, we helped a farmer transition several hundreds of acres of corn and soy crops away from conventional inputs and towards a more biological approach. In the first year, the farmer received an estimated economic net gain of ~$270 / acre.
