Aislynn Campbell is the Founder and Executive Director of GROW Local South Texas, a non-profit organization that provides affordable access to nutrient-dense food to the community and promotes a healthy lifestyle. An executive farmer, she created the Corpus Christi Downtown Farmers’ Market in 2012. Aislynn works to increase the quality of life, health and wellness within her community, zeroing in on how to best utilize and manage green space, increase community responsibility, change habit habits that create trash, increase pedestrian safety and accessibility to healthy foods. Aislynn is the Region 7 Director for Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association, a member of the Texas Food Policy Council, a Board Member of Corpus Christi’s Community Advisory Health Board, a Board member of the Texas Food Policy Council and a celebrated alumni of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. In 2012 Aislynn gave a Tedx talk titled The Food Revolution Begins in Your Home(Town). In 2016 she was awarded Capital Farm Credit’s Fresh Credit 100: Urban to Rural.
