The Texas Center for Local Food provides education, research, and technical assistance to create equitable regional food systems in Texas that support prosperous family farms, healthy Texans and vibrant rural economies.

- We manage the online learning platform by and for farmers and farmers market organizers in Texas, TXFED.org.
- We provide 1:1 support on business planning, marketing and market development, and accessing USDA programs to underserved farmers and ranchers in Texas as part of our Farm Business Services.
- We provide 1:1 support to farmers markets in Texas interested in accepting SNAP, or who already accept SNAP and want help reaching more SNAP-eligible customers.
- We work with Elgin ISD to host Farm-to-Kids programming, ensuring the next generation knows how to access and cook with local food ingredients.
- We are working with Bastrop County community members to develop a local food action plan, including increased food system resilience in the face of disasters.
